Target Public: oncologists, radio-oncologists, surgeons, researchers, students, and other professionals involved in taking care of cancer patients
Introduction: In its 5th edition, the International Congress Intersections will be 100% online for the first time, on 20 - 21 August.
The event will feature well-known names in global oncology: 18 international
speakers and over 60 national speakers who, for two days will participate in plenary sessions with topics regarding the perspectives, discoveries, and strategies of Modern Oncology. Thematic sessions will also be held with lectures
focusing on the following areas: Thoracic cancer, Prostate cancer, Leukemias, Lymphomas, Myeloma, Breast cancer, Gastrointestinal Tumors and Genitourinary Tumors, as well as interactive discussions of clinical cases.
In
practice, the integration of molecular biology, clinical evolution and response to treatment of several diseases in different presentations has allowed for the recognition of the most efficacious therapies, and, eventually less
toxic ones, according to the tumor’s molecular profile. Therefore, precision medicine is already part of our daily routine.
This is an extraordinarily rich moment with relevant discoveries, which inspire and encourage us
to contribute in a relevant manner to the development of Oncology in our setting.
We will definitely repeat the success of our previous editions!
